Glass front with 4 glass doors which open - 2 on either side.  5 Shelves - 4 are Glass with bevels for standing up plates. Bottom shelf is stained wood and fixed!  Glass shelves are removable and can be placed at different heights. Two lights underneath inside top. In great shape. I've been using this case to show off my doll collection. I'm now selling most my collection and no longer need the curio! The case comes EMPTY. NO DOLLS, or anything else, are included.
